Tori Amos's Comic Book Tattoo

Tori Amos, always breaking new ground and crossing boundaries, has a new project: Comic Book Tattoo. Songs like The Waitress, and Pirates, and Honey, just to name a few, were given the opportunity to come to life in a new way. Tori has allowed comic book artists to create comic interpretations of her songs. Tori has about twenty years of songs to choose from and Comic Book Tattoo is an amazing new way to interpret the vivid images of her songbook.

Anyone else really excited? :)

Yay for comics! This is an excellent way to interpret songs. We're seeing more and more cross-pollination with comics and other media: movies, TV, music, and even politics! IDW (30 Days of Night) is publishing comics about Obama and McCain. It's a great time to be a comics fan because there's truly something for everyone, regardless of tastes. This book is very exciting and I hope it paves the way for more like it.
