Videos of the Year

Well, the end of the year is upon us and all across the land of Blog you can find the opinions of friends and strangers on the best videos of the year. You will find the same type of thing here. Many people try to be hip and cool and post videos from bands you have never heard of or maybe they post videos that are seen a million times on Fuse or MTV. I have a little of both. I spent the past few weeks re-watching videos I enjoyed this year narrowing 100(ish) videos down to 50. My list is not in any particular order until the top 11. Also in the top eleven I will have the videos posted but for the other videos I will just have a link that will take you to the video. Please keep in mind that these are my thoughts on the best videos and I know that there are many more that I could have put in here but I have my opinions and here they are. Enjoy!

I love the original version of this song (Take On Me for those of you that don't know) but this just makes me laugh a lot.

As many people know...

I adore Jason Mraz. His music reaches a part of my soul that many other artists can't. Maybe it is that I relate to the words, or that I feel the music beat through my veins, or maybe it is because Jason understands that the music is not his, but ours. It belongs to the world and he is simply the vessel that the music moves through.

I read this quote from him today and was blown away.

I’m not the person you want to meet. The music is. And the music is alive in you as much as it is in me. We created it together. Therefore, you already know me. We’ve already hugged and kissed. We grew close for a moment and then said our goodbyes.

I adore him even more now.
